Guidance in our Journal that reflects the collective work of a practice desk — rather than a single named author — is published under The Negotiation Experts Editorial Team. This page explains who that is and how the work is produced.
The editorial team is made up of the firm's practice desks and editors. Each desk is led by former vendor licensing and commercial executives who now represent enterprise buyers exclusively:
Personal, single-author articles are bylined to the named individual — for example founder Morten Andersen — and link to that author's profile.
Several of our senior advisors came directly from the licensing and commercial teams of the vendors they now negotiate against, and remain bound by non-solicitation and confidentiality obligations. To protect both those individuals and our clients, we publish their work under the practice desk and the editorial team rather than under personal names. Their prior roles, tenure and areas of expertise are described on each practice page. This is a deliberate transparency choice, not an absence of accountability: the firm stands behind every word, and our founder is named and contactable.
All editorial-team content is produced and reviewed under our published Editorial Standards, grounded in primary sources and the firm's own engagement record. Errors can be reported through our Corrections policy.
