Role

Partner — AI & Emerging Platforms at The Negotiation Experts. Leads the firm's Microsoft Copilot mandates and represents buyers against vendor commercial teams the partner formerly sat on.

Background

Alumni of: Microsoft (AI product) / OpenAI (enterprise GTM)

Former Microsoft AI product executive and early OpenAI enterprise go-to-market leader. Now advises Fortune 500 buyers on AI platform contract terms, data rights, and usage-based pricing.

The AI procurement practice is led by advisors with backgrounds in AI product and enterprise go-to-market at major model and platform vendors. They now help buyers negotiate a fast-moving and immature contracting landscape. The practice covers foundation-model and AI-platform agreements, usage- and token-based pricing caps, data-rights and training-data clauses, output ownership and indemnification, model-performance SLAs, and lock-in and portability terms.

Because AI pricing and terms shift quarter to quarter, engagements emphasise benchmarking against current market deals, modelling usage-based cost exposure under realistic scaling, and securing protective clauses before signature. The practice understands how AI vendors structure commitments, where pricing genuinely flexes, and which emerging contractual risks — IP, liability, data use — most threaten enterprise buyers. It accepts no vendor referral fees.

Specialisation

Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, OpenAI enterprise, Anthropic Claude, Salesforce Einstein contract terms.
